Readings an article last night on the events that took place in Nigeria resulting in more than 300+ deaths is disheartening. Religious conflicts amongst a people who knew God in their own way now find internal conflict that leads in bloodshed and homelessness. Has how much difference is their between religion and gangs who seek to increase their memberships by having individuals choose (divide themselves) which side they will commit loyalty.
Why have we allowed our faith to become judge and jury to one another or is it faith at all the we so blame for our ferocious attacks on each other? That’s rhetorical unless you have some serious input, but we aren’t just waging conflict religion to religion, also inter-religious wars are taking place within homes, communities, etc. Faith is not something that is meant for twisting into side-choosing rituals or as the measure for who is right or wrong…right? Faith is about confidence and trust that the almighty will provide a way or give us the right directions. About knowing he exist and believing in him, not a convert tool or a weapon for human breakdown and bloodshed…what has happen to us?http://m.apnews.com/ap/db_8593/contentdetail.htm?contentguid=AvrdU5G8
