Manage your own expectations—the most an unkind person may offer is a moment of being slightly less unkind, and a liar will only tell half-truths at best. Those with over expectations woefully forget that a rose has thorns and will draw blood if not cautious; the tongue will be so quick to curse what was in nature to do. Those who manage wisely their expectations rule their moments.
If you seek the liar to speak the truth then you are deceiving yourself.
