Break Free </invalid code>

By

Cotton fields abound,

Slaves toil, economy thrives,

Freedom yet to come.

//

By eighteen sixty,

Two billion pounds of cotton,

Liberty proclaimed.

//

Social media, the new plantations, hear me out,

A digital field where your likes, shares, and clout,

Are the crops harvested, seeds of manipulation,

Where participation feeds a corporate nation

pushing algorithmic assumptions , feeding the

desire for self-validation

Give them what is on your mind and there’s

No remuneration for your participation

Just pick it, I mean click it, and you fill validated

//

In online fields vast,

Clicks and likes replace real touch,

Seek authenticity.

//

Signals hum and glow,

Glass fields of false connections,

Rise and break these binds.

//

Scroll your feed, there’s an agenda in play,

Selling you dreams, while leading you astray.

Your time, your data, your every interaction,

A currency traded for personal satisfaction.

Albeit distraction…tick tock away!

Profiles and pictures, the masks we wear,

While in the background code hides the truth.

Influence and power hidden between lines,

In a world where attention defines the vibe.

Chains of data cling,

Minds in digital fields bound,

Break free, find your truth.

We post, we comment, first amendment—believing we’re free,

Yet tethered to screens, where spies sit in the back scene

harvesting for the powers that be.

The new plantations, where freedom’s an illusion,

In a world of endless digital intrusion

Where users gorge themselves on the forbidden tree.

Emotional entanglements where nothing

Is what it seem to be

//

So rise, be aware, let your voice break through,

In this field of glass and cobalt, filled with signals

And semiconductors code orchestrated intelligence

With artificial emotions—let authenticity renew.

Be the true you, deny this plantation the power to bind,

Your mind—in these cotton dreams and memes.

//

By eighteen sixty,

Two billion pounds of cotton,

Liberty proclaimed.

//

A plantation by many name

This time its freedom of speech

So it claims

//

True self must emerge,

Beyond the artificial,

Liberty awaits.
