It was Tuesday evening when I dialed up and tuned in to vibe with brother/friend Eryk Moore and his co-host Niles for an evening in conversation. I actually almost forgot that I was the guest of honor with how much hospitality the chat-room and host provided. The vibe was right for some good dialog about poetry of all sorts, a little bit of love, and a lot about life. I tend to get impassioned when we start to talk about “spoken-word” poetry and the impact it has once the poem is done and the mic goes silent, waiting for the next artist to come and spill their stuff into it; where in some preconceived notion of conformity, they began to allocute their story/life to the listening audience who fill the seats of what feels like a sanctuary or your computer desk chair in this day and age of technology (damn!). Anyways, I rather enjoyed our time on the Verbal Ink: Evening Edition check it out. Peace and love, Tshombe
